FOR CIRNECO DELL'ETNA

At Helsinki Winner Show, Lucky del Borgo di Pratica Anharbn went BOB, CACIB and Helsinki Winner 2011 and Peppi, Iosono Deja Vu went Best Opposite Sex, CACIB and Helsinki Winner 2011 under judge Mr.G. Jipping with 15 Cirnechi entered. The following day at the Finnish Winner show with an entry of 24 Cirnechi, Peppi, Iosono Deja Vu won Best of Breed & CACIB & Finnish W-11 and Lucky won res-CACIB! Many congratulations to Inka for handling the winning dogs.

Here in UK at LKA several of the imports were unable to make the show due to various reasons. Jackie & Greg Brown were unable to attend with their new puppy Anharbn Tangerine Dream of Nakarat and Amber & Simo due to snow in Derbyshire. Also Kirk Rose and his good lady were unable to make it from Cornwall with Anharbn Orange Juice because of clutch problems.

I believe that only two Cirnechi finally attended. Best Import was Hadranensis Remo owned by Michele Farleigh and Jane Moore. Anharbn White Rose for Mwenga owned in the partnership of Agnew and Cullen was 2nd Open Bitch and won the Good Citizen Bitch class.

I did not attend as I thought it too risky with having puppies at home. The last thing I wanted was the possibility of taking home an infection at this stage.

I would like to take the opportunity to congratulate three of the CDE members, Mr and Mrs Danny and Nicola Cullen and Mrs Toni Agnew on their fabulous success at LKA winning Group and Res. BIS with Tokaji Texas Ranger, Basenji. Great win for the team.

In New York, USA the breed was again supporting the 'Meet The Breed' which is the same as our Discover Dogs and what a thrill to see the Cirneco booth won the 'Best Booth competition'. The breed is still struggling with recognition in the States and so this is a real bonus for the Cirneco people.

Well Christmas is here again and I would like to wish all our readers a very happy time and all the very best for 2012
