BREED NOTES FOR CIRNECO DELL'ETNA

In Ireland recently Eindackel Elentari CJW09 won BGS and BOB at Sligo Ch show and was also shortlisted to final 6 of group 5. And at Dundalk Ch show under Andrew Brace, Ir Ch Eindackel Elured CW09 won DGS and Eindackel Elentari CJW09 won BGS and BOB.

I have some nice show news from Finland Annikki Peltola took (Jokinen) Anharbn Yellow River to two Int shows on 18th and 19th July. There were 5 Cirnechi entered to both shows. On Saturday he was best male with CC and BOS (BOB was Iosono Diamante). On Sunday he took all: best male, CC and BOB. BOS was his great grandmother Vespina who was also BOB veteran, and BOB puppy was Vespinja's Elektra.
Unfortunately Jokinen is still too young to receive CACIB...

Here in the UK the Import Register classes at Leeds on 25th July were judged by Mr Martin Sanders. Anharbn White Rose for Mwenga was 2nd PGB with Anharbn White Wedding standing 3rd. Best Dog and Reserve Best Import was Anharbn White Tiger.

News from Diane Clark that 'Luca' Hadranensis Rigoletta has started formal agility training so hopfully we should have news other than from the show scene soon.
The Ourdogs competition for Top Puppy (Import Register) at the half way stage is 'Tigger' Anharbn White Tiger with 6 points.
The Kennel Club Registrations for the Cirneco dell'Etna 1st and 2nd Quarter 2009 are at 10 which gives us 60 KC registered Cirnechi.
In the last Club e-mailed update, requests were made for members to form a working group for the Club. David Morris will be Acting Secretary and Diane Clark as Acting Treasure. There is a need for two more members to put there names forward please. The working group will set a date for the inaugural meeting which looks as if it will be
towards the latter part of the year and the venue remains at Kelb Tal Fenek. This is due to there being a large proportion of members who do not show or as yet own a Cirneco.

The Club has now gained it's 70th member. Welcome to Rebecca Drane from Kent.
