FOR CIRNECO DELL'ETNA
Now it's official that Lucky is the TOP CIRNECO 2011 in Finland. Lucky = FI & EE Ch HeW-11 Lucky del Borgo di Pratica Anharbn.
Inka reports that at Tallinn Feb 2012 Lucky won BOB, CACIB and CAC and new Estonian Champion. He also made a cut in the group. Many congratulations Inka and Lucky.
You may have all noticed that the Kennel Club has made a new ruling with immediate effect that all exhibits at shows must be identified on their benches or cages. Benching numbers will remain on the benches and identification on cages and soft crates should be supplied by the exhibitor. A KC spokesman said
“Each exhibitor is responsible for putting identification on their own crate or cage, and should note that the original exhibit/bench number card, as provided by the show society, must not be used for this purpose,” "At open shows or unbenched shows where a bench number may not be known in advance or is not required, any form of exhibit/owner identification is acceptable. The purpose of this requirement is for show organisers to be able to identify a dog who may be in distress and therefore have some route to contact the dog’s owner via Tannoy messages etc."
One question asked of the KC was "why do exhibitors need to have a number on the crate? Why not their name and address and mobile number ?"
The KC reply was "It is preferable, for simplicity, for the exhibitor’s version of the bench/exhibit number to be used as the primary form of identification. However, if exhibitors choose to provide alternative identification which still enables the show management to trace the dog’s owner that is acceptable.
Have a great day at Crufts and let me know if you have any news.
