BREED NOTES FOR CIRNECO DELL'ETNA

Just back from the World Dogshow in Denmark where the weather was wonderful the whole week and the caravan parking was so well organised that the UK could learn a lot from their organisation.

Our judge was Marit Sunde from Norway with an entry of 20 Cirnechi from Russia, Finland, Switzerland, Belgium, Italy, UK and Sicily.

WORLD WINNER DOG with CAC/CACIB was my very own homebred Anharbn White Tiger of which I am thrilled. His sister Anharbn White Wedding won open bitch and took CAC/RCACIB.

The WORLD WINNER BITCH and BOB was Bart Sheeren's Boxing Helena's Gieffeffe who was also WW09. Many congratulaions also to Bart and Maya.

The JUNIOR WORLD WINNER was Swiss Lombards Bacardi bred by Matteo Lombardo and owned by Evelyne Bauer.

There was plenty of room around the rings which were well spaced out and were all of the same size regardless of breed.

The stewards knew exactly what they were doing and all class numbers were written on a board with the entry numbers and shown around the whole ring as well as called out so no-one could miss a class. Not all the dogs were given excellents so some were unable to compete for the placing's.

Three days before we were showing at the Danish Sighthound clubshow where there were 6 entries. Anharbn White Tiger was Best Dog with CACIB and Anharbn White Wedding was Best Bitch and BOB with CACIB.

The main reason for entering was to see how my breeding compaired with other Countries and also to find a new male to add to the genepool. Obviously I am thrilled at knowing my breeding is going in the right direction. Unfortunately I did not find anything new so now I will await the arrival on my male from America in August.

Next year the World show is in Paris and I hope to take Tigger and Bridie again with Pipa, Anharbn Pretty In Pink in junior and Multi Champion Giltedged Yana Anharbn in the veteran class.

Back at home in UK, at Blackpool Best Dog and BOB was Hadranensis Romolo owned by Mrs Anderson & Mrs O'Kane. Reserve Best Bitch was Toni & Micheal Agnew & Danny Cullen's Anharbn White Rose for Mwenga. At Border Union, BD & BOB was Hadranensis Remo owned by Mrs Farleigh with Reserve going to Hadranensis Romolo. Many congratulations.

Anharbn White Tiger has been mated to Anharbn Moulin Rouge and we are waiting for news from London and if all goes to plan a new litter from Tigger in Belgium will arrive later this year.
